The Staycation Short Film Crowdfunding Party

Hi everyone! My name is Aryka Randall and I'm the writer and producer of the indie horror comedy The Staycation. After a two year pause on production, we’re thrilled to be filming at the end of August 2023 and could really use your help acquiring the budget needed to create this amazing film with high quality production value!

We’re a dynamic women led production company that has self produced two web series, one Amazon Prime series, and two short films to date. We’re hoping to raise a total of $20K over a two month period to help pay for production costs for the film. Below is a breakdown of the costs we anticipate after doing a preliminary budget.

ABOUT THE FILM

Bad vibes, bad friends. The Staycation examines the dynamics between frenemies, social media, and the way people are distracted from being present in the moment. The groups loyalty is tested when a series of unfortunate events takes place at their vacation rental leaving everyone to question what friendship really means.
