The Stolen Children Film: Part 2
Donation protected
Hey everyone!
Thank you so much for considering donating to our production so that we can tell the untold story of filmmaker, Elizabeth Jacobs, and her search for her biological parents. Elizabeth Jacobs was adopted at seven months from Cambodia and is now living in the United States with her adoptive family. Elizabeth attends the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a triple major in Marketing, Communication, and Film Studies. In her Junior year, Elizabeth is embarking on a trip of a lifetime and is determined to find out more about her adoption process and whether she was truly an orphan to begin with.
With your donation, you are helping this adoptee narrative reach other adoptees who may have a similar story to Jacobs'. Not only are we searching for a reunion between daughter and family, but we are also shining light on the state of Cambodia today, as opposed to twenty years ago.
The funds raised from this campaign will be used to rent out all camera, lighting, and audio equipment for production. We are a group of nine young filmmakers and we need your help to be able to afford the gear that will let us visually tell our story to all.
Since we are scheduled to fly over this January for production, these donations are vital to have early on so that we can lock down our equipment list and focus more on the storytelling.
Your support means the world to us and is greatly appreciated. Every donation counts and will be paid forward through small prize tiers that will be announced soon! Check back to look at the tiers and see what you could receive in return for your donation. It is a small piece of our gratitude to you and we hope you stick with us through this journey of reconnection and belonging.
Sincerely,
The Stolen Children Production
