Meet The Sunshine Kids Orphanage from Bugeso Village, Uganda.
REGISTRATION NUMBER: BMC 702/91 NKUSIWARD
The Sunshine Kids are called "sunshine" for a reason because the way they have warmed my heart has been truly incredible. I am so proud to be involved in this project and to be able to say I am part of The Sunshine Family! I came across The Sunshine Kids last year when I was working on another charity project that unfortunately fell through but I decided to keep supporting and doing my bit to support these children regardless. Since then we have decided to construct a plan on raising money to buy land and build a house, provide education, school equipment and clothes so that these children can grow, blossom and thrive in a future that is as bright as they are.
Below is the background story of the Sunshine Children and a few words on what this visit would mean to The Sunshine Kids Orphanage by the person responsible Wakate Asuman.
Have a blessed day everyone. Love, good energy and high vibrations only

"We are a real orphanage that seriously needs help providing for over 40 children of all ages. I have been running this place since my mother died in 2017 with our caretaker a widow named “Dada”.
It has been difficult and a daily fight to cover the expenses of the school fees, rent, food, medication etc especially as we are 3.5 hours away from the main city. Access to simple resources has become an everyday challenge. Most of our funds are used for simple daily needs including food, clothes, and occasionally, new shoes and mattresses. Some hardships we have faced include the COVID-19 crisis, natural disasters such as flooding from storms and a dysfunctional water well which is our main water supply.
This visit will bring more awareness to more people of our mission and inspire them to help us build a better future for children who thought they will never have a chance. Not only that Indigo has been like a mother to us for over a year and we so much would like to meet her and thank her for her lovely heart. Eventually, we would like to build our home where we can all live and from there concentrate on our other objectives and the children's education and eventually prepare them to find a job. So this will not only help us but the community at large!"
