The Tale Of The Very Bad No Good Broken Uterus
Donation protected
As many of you know and for those of you who don’t, I have recently been diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma. Over the course of the last year I have accumulated medical debt of $11,000. With this cancer diagnosis comes a life time of doctors visits, check ups and tests to ensure the cancer hasn’t spread and that I remain cancer free. Insurance only covers so much for these visits and only after I match my $7350 deductible each year. (Yay HMO’s! Yay for having insurance because without it my total hysterectomy wouldn’t be possible!!!) So for the rest of my life these check ups will cost me out of pocket. I need your help to eradicate this past medical debt to better prepare me for the influx of medical debt to come and get back to zero so that I may begin the next chapter of my life with a fresh start.
Your donation will provide you with my endless supply of inappropriate and sarcastic humor by yours truly. Limitless stories about how cute and adorable my doxie, Maude, is. An abounding knowledge of useless trivia and movie quotes and lastly the warmth, caring, love and friendship for years to come.
Now, unlike the government during tax season, I will provide an itemized list of what your donation will be covering at your request. Since I have lost the ability to have children I will be donating any proceeds exceeding my goal or any donation unspent on medical costs to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital to aide in childhood cancer research and treatment.
I am asking for a maximum donation of $25,000 to cover past, present and future medical costs as well as earnings lost due to cancer treatments and recovery. Again, any amount unused or exceeding my goal will be 100% donated to the children of St Jude’s.
If you would like to follow my progress use the hashtag #byestupiduterus2018 on facebook to see updates. If you would like to donate directly, please contact me at [email redacted]
