The Telemedicine Center of Haiti
Donation protected
Gifts to Streams in the Desert supports a well-established program; and grounded in professionalism, heart and commitment. Dr. Prosper has demonstrated the difference a few dedicated individuals with limited resources can make. Our immediate need is to secure sufficient annual operating funds to keep the clinic in operation. Currently, one used ambulance with more than 140,000 miles on the odometer serves as a mobile hospital to reach those who otherwise would not find help. Moving ahead, Streams in the Desert hopes to secure gifts to purchase land to open another clinic, secure the donation of additional ambulances to ship to Haiti, set-up ongoing programs to secure medicines and technology from various hospitals and medical companies and begin training to certify health care workers. As we are able to grow and sustain our growth, more doctors and staff will be integrated into an open system which is dedicated to serving the needs of the people of Haiti.
