The Three Moons is going to World Championship!

The Three Moons FLL team won the FIRST LEGO League Kansas City Regional Championship in January 2024. Esther Kong and Sarah Song from Quail Run Elementary school have the opportunity to go to Houston, TX for 2024 World Championship, April 17 - 20, 2024.

FIRST LEGO League is an international competition that asks elementary and middle school students to solve a real world problem. The robotics part of the competition involves designing and programming Lego Education robots to complete tasks. This year's challenge, MasterPiece, focuses on how to use art and technology to help engage others or increase participation in what you love to do.

Sarah and Esther chose to help Monarchs and worked really hard with Monarch Watch staff. They have run many outreach programs using arts, and made a prototype webpage for the Monarch Watch Kids Zone.

They are very excited to share what they have done with 160 teams from 60 different countries who will join the world festival this April. We need your help to send this amazing team to Houston!
