In the early morning hours of September 16th, the Thurmonds awoke to their home in flames. Brad and Kim Thurmond, along with their two sons, Jake and Athyn, and Kim's elderly mother with dementia, have been forced out of their home due to extensive damage from the house fire. While the house is insured, building supplies are costly, and there are still many needs that need to be met. As the family faces a loss of basic needs on a fixed income, this GoFundMe is igniting in hopes of filling the gaps in all areas. Anything will help, and all proceeds that may be extra will be donated to a worthy cause.
