The Tim Vasquez Help-A-Thon Fundraiser

Hey there. This is Mike, Tim’s brother. Here is why we’re fundraising. But first…

Tim was a Superhero of The Big-Hearted. His Cape was his smile, his Invincibility was his tears and his Power was in his time devoted to Charity. And what a time that was. From his time with the Dallas Margarita Society and Love For Kids, to many other functions he attended or emceed, he mentioned many times how blessed he felt after each function he was involved with.

And over 10 years ago Tim took a leap of faith and started his own business as an SEO expert. And while that business in and of itself could be lucrative, Tim was a force for his friends who needed help in their business. He was a force for his clients that used his services. He was as good and better than he said he was. Unfortunately a couple of years ago he had to undergo a triple bypass coupled with a minor stroke that he had to deal with concurrently. But he kept that information to himself (besides us family members) because that’s who Tim was.

However, the financial toll it exacted on him was ruinous. Plus he had no insurance. He tried to continue doing some SEO but it was tiring for him. But the bills didn’t stop and as we’ve discovered, unfortunately the challenge to try and remediate the growing debt was such he just stopped opening the mail. Tim also had no will or directive.
