The tragic passing of Baby Dominga

I am writing this on behalf of my brother Julio and his wife Jessica, who are understandably too overcome with grief to do this on their own. On, November 10th, 2024, Dominga Jochebed Muriam Ramirez was born into this world. Just 48 days later, on December 28th, 2024, just 3 days after Christmas, Dominga passed away. She was struggling to breathe and the amazing EMT's, paramedics and hospital staff did everything in their power to help, but with over an hour of her not breathing, they were unable to save her.

There's so much that still needs to be done for this wonderful family. Julio and Jessica are parents to two more children, Sadri and Jack, who are also both devastated and were just recently over Thanksgiving and Christmas telling me how excited they were to being an older sibling to Dominga. I still can't believe I held her so recently, looking forward to the lucky day when my wife and I get to bring a little into the world. The heartbreak has been absolutely overwhelming and everyone in our family has been understandingly affected by this loss.

Anything anyone can do to help out Julio, Jessica, Sadri, and Jack would be greatly appreciated. Beyond planning for funeral and burial costs, they have been trying to get out of their very bad apartment for months now. After such a horrible tragedy, my hope is that good people in life can show them at least some positive that can act as a light in the darkness.
