The Trainer Exchange
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Kat and I am behind the social initiative called 'The Trainer Exchange'. This is a social initiative based in Bristol in the UK that aims to enable participants in the sport of netball to take part in safe and appropriate footwear. Netball trainers, or even just a good pair of generic trainers can be very expensive and are sometimes out of reach for individuals wanting to take part in the sport. Conversely, there are people who replace or change their trainers frequently. This initiative aims to match trainers that are no longer required to those people who can make good use of them.
I am fundraising predominantly to purchase equipment to grow this initiative, particularly: cardboard deposit boxes to be used at venues around Bristol such as sports centres and gyms as well as some branded merchandise such as t-shirts and jumpers that can be worn to raise the profile of the exchange. Some money may be used to purchase second-hand trainers from sites such as eBay to maintain stock levels.
