The Tributary Music Festival 2022

The Tributary Festival is back!

Our first ever event in 2021 was a huge success; we raised over $7000 to to support the Chesapeake Bay, hosted over 500 attendees, had over 50 student volunteers, and received press from local sources such as WMAR, WJZ, WTMD, the Baltimore Sun, and more.

Now, we are working on bringing the Tributary Festival to 2022! With your support, we can raise even more for the Chesapeake Bay, host a much larger crowd, and make 2022 the best year yet!

The Bay would be nothing without its rivers, just like this festival is nothing without supporters like you. We need your help to reach as many people and make as large an impact as possible. About Us

 

Hey!

My name is Reed Spaulding and I am a junior at Towson High school. I am also the organizer and creator of the Tributary Festival. I love music and the Bay, and found that this festival would be the perfect way to connect the two. 

 

Many of my fondest memories have been formed on the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers; be it fishing, crabbing, or boating with my grandparents on the Piankatank River in southern Virginia; tubing with my cousins on the Gunpowder in Baltimore County; attending Sandy Hill Camp on the Susquehanna; or sailing with the Downtown Sailing Club on the Inner Harbor. I’m also a musician, playing in multiple bands and working on my music every day. 

Our Tributary Festival team is working hard to manage different aspects of the event, and your donation will help support our goals of putting on an awesome event this year!

Student leaders include vice president Genie Lord, treasurer Ryan Wahler, secretary Jillian McNulty, business liaisons Will Kennedy and Leo Mileto, environmental coordinators Sophia Brown and Rocco Brooks, music and talent facilitator Grant Weis, arts and marketing director Henrique Doria, and over 40 additional club members. 

 

Though we faced multiple setbacks involving COVID, we were so excited to host our first Tributary Festival in 2021 and are looking forward to our 2022 event!
