Jennifer Ann Coppell’s Book, The Trip

I met Jenny through the amazing work she does for charity, now I'm proud to call her friend. I watched her grow in confidence over the last few months having written her first book. Jenny has raised thousands for charity never mind the donations of food and gifts for the most vulnerable people, she won't thank me for saying but she often puts her hand in her own pocket to help. So lets come together and help this special lady to make her dream come true of becoming a published author. Anyway over to you Jenny....

My name is Jenny and I am reaching out to you all to help me raise the £2100 cost of a part contract with the publisher Pegasus who I have just signed with.

I am in the process of self-funding the printing of the first 100 limited Edition signed copies of my first Book called "The Trip'' with Media & Co.

Pegasus will then publish my manuscript, do the marketing, turn it into an eBook, print the book and distribute to all their attached stores incl. Waterstones and Amazon, nationwide and abroad.

Once that is complete in about a year and the book starts to sell, then I shall donate 50% of the published version's royalties will then be paid to a charity to be announced.

A bit about the Author

My name is Jenny and over the last year I have been writing my first book. I’m a single woman in her fifties from Toxteth, a mum to two amazing children I raised alone. I used my small amount of free time to become a volunteer which grew into a career working for many charities in retail raising many thousands, making a real difference to people in need lives, something I am immensely proud of and yet there was still something missing, I had lost myself.

Then something happened last year, I had a dream, then another and my life began to change…

The leading lady in my dreams was a funny independent woman called Annie who met her dream lover, the lover of my dreams. Eventually to make sense of what and why it was happening, I began to make notes every morning, with such clarity, names, faces, emotions, memories of the sweetest touch.

My dream diary was so full of love, so full of emotion, I laughed and cried when I wrote it and every time I read it back. Over the months it became 33,500 word Manuscript which has been accepted by two well known publishers; I have become an Author, manifesting my dreams, every single one of them.

I am so very proud of this personal account of my visions and as someone that has stayed single to protect my heart for many years, it's finally made me realise at 54 that my life is not over, I can be successful and find love, like myself or maybe just find my true self!

And I know this book can help others find themselves too.

A bit about the Book.

The Trip is an entertaining and immersive read, well suited to a modern audience. Annie trips and falls and is helped to her feet by a handsome stranger. They find something unique and soon discover each other’s pasts and insecurities. Annie is a hilarious and relatable character that speaks in a realistic and distinctive voice to tell her story of her life, meeting the man of her dreams in a twist of fate will have readers gripped. She is not the perfect woman, that many books and films portray; she has her insecurities and is weary of a love that blossoms in case it’s not real.

As flaws are revealed and they bond, they open up their journey as it takes on twists and turns as the reader falls into the fast pace and easy wording of a firsthand perspective of two middle aged, lonely people who become lovers and possibly more. Meeting many characters on the way, it does not detract from the two main characters as they embark on an emotional journey to find happiness… or do they?
