The UK Sepsis Trust and Pencoed u12 Rugby Team

Hi I’m Chris, me and the Pencoed u12 rugby team will be fundraising for The UK Sepsis Trust and to raise funds for the team itself. Every year our team do a fundraiser for themselves this year we thought we’d share it with charity.

Why The UK Sepsis Trust?
May 10th 2017 my father sadly lost his life to sepsis at only 53 years old. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever been though. I still can’t understand why or how it happened 6 years later.
Sepsis was missed by doctors several times due to the lack of awareness.
My dad would have loved to be watching his grandson playing rugby with all his awesome teammates.

The UK Sepsis Trust seek to save lives from sepsis, educating healthcare professionals and raising public awareness. With your help we want to end preventable deaths from sepsis

On Friday 9th June I will be taking on 10 Y Fan (Pen Y Fan 10 times) it’s a 24hour challenge. To put this challenge in perspective, this means over 40 miles in total, and those that complete the full 10 climbs will have achieved the same overall height as Everest!
