Welcome to the Ultimate Online Cosplay Championship Crowdfund Campaign!
We've officially announced this year's online cosplay competition - and we wanted to give the community an opportunity to support our live virtual event scheduled for May 15th, 2021.
All funding generated through donations will go to supporting the following specific Ultimate Cosplay LLC needs:
*This is and always will be a free event, but we are very grateful for your contributions*
The Ultimate Online Cosplay Championship Event (May 15th, 2021):
•Paying all 25 committee members for their time and effort for organizing this event.
•Reimbursing host, judges’, and volunteers’ costs for materials of handmade prizes, medals, trophy, and judge’s choice awards.
•International shipping related costs for the 30+ Prize Winners (Beginners, Needlework, Armor, Out of this World, Best in Categories, Best in Show, and Judge’s Choice awards).
•Producing a live show with both real-time and pre-recorded content to create a worldwide cosplay celebration.
•Creating an environment in which we can all have a worldwide cosplay celebration together!
Ancillary costs towards establishing Ultimate Cosplay LLC:
•Obtaining a business license, permits, and EIN for operating our contest and all future Ultimate Cosplay goals.
•Purchasing and operating costs for The Ultimate Cosplay domain, website, and API.
•Providing weekly podcasts hosted by Hoku Props and Tock Custom and coordinating special guests.
•Banking, accountant, and tax related costs.
Future Goals for Ultimate Cosplay LLC: (Any additional assets will go towards)
•Production of a series of Ultimate Cosplay tutorial literature (More to come on this soon!)
•Renting booths at cons & travel expenses for Ultimate Cosplay committee members’ involvement at those events.
•Virtual, pre-recorded, and in person panels, tutorials, workshops, and craft-along sessions with our members.
•Building a foundation to support career cosplayers, prop makers, and artists - and protecting the integrity of our community.
•Funding for future cosplay contests!
We also have some extremely exciting news, as Ultimate Cosplay LLC has been established as of Thursday Jan 28th, 2021!
