The ultimate send off for the BEST guy we knew

We all have said it and knew it, dad was THE BEST! He worked hard and perfected everything he did. He was a tremendous athlete, wonderful husband, loving dad and proud Papa/Peepaw. He went above and beyond for everyone he knew, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it or asked for it. He took pride in the work he did at Harvard, UMass and Boston College. No one could drive a Zamboni like our dad, or care for the athletic grounds the way he did. His unrivaled field painting skills are only such because he perfected them.

After his retirement in 2020, he looked forward to spending as much time as he could with Mom, Zack, Christa and I, and his grandsons. He couldn’t wait to take his grandsons to baseball games and teach them how to skate. Unfortunately those dreams were crushed when he was diagnosed with ALS in October 2021. That turned into a triple whammy with the unexpected death of Jean, followed by the passing of Mom. There is a reason for everything. We are fortunate and grateful he was able to survive meeting two more grandsons and finally, a granddaughter. They kept him going until God called him home.

The cost of a funeral and memorial is a lot to bear for any family. We humbly ask you to donate in celebration of Paul, THE BEST GUY any of us knew. Funds will be used to help support the cost of his funeral/celebration and pay any outstanding bills.
