Support family of Oscar Resendez after shocking loss

On October 11th, Oscar B. Resendez unexpectedly and tragically passed away at his home in San Antonio. His children, Jennifer and Jason, and grandchildren, Camren Levell-Ballard and Kaylynn Harris, are left stunned at the sudden loss.

Oscar, a simple and independent man, could often be seen cheering on his grandson at basketball games. The immense love and impact he had for his family can be seen in the heartbreak following his passing.

Anyone who knows Jennifer, his daughter, knows the losses she has already endured, and the graceful, strength she has always had through what could only be called the worst of times. She is a kind, loving mother of 2, and her friends and family can account for the selfless, strong, incredible woman she has been for all of us at one point or another. Now, it is our turn to show up for her.

Despite this devastating loss, Jen has continued to go to work every day with her special needs students, hiding behind a simple smile so they are none the wiser. Yet another display of her altruism, Jen has always put her family above herself no matter the pain she is bearing.

I would like us to help her with funeral expenses and the costs to take care of her fathers home. It would be absolutely incredible if we could also support her enough to take a few days off of work to deal with the grief of being the one to find her father on the day of his passing.

Jen has personally been there for me in times of need, so I am starting this fundraiser in hopes that we can be there for her the same way she has been there for so many of us.
