The tragic passing of Alex Yanez, devoted father

On 9/7/2023, Alex Yanez passed in a tragic motorcycle accident at the age of 27. He was loved by this small community, as a brother, uncle, son, friend, fisherman but most of all- a father. He has spent his entire adult life devoted to his kids, working tirelessly and risking his life on the ocean to provide for his family.

Logann and Alex were high school sweethearts who met as teenagers, and went on to build a beautiful family. They share three young children Madelynn (2), Weston (4) and Wyatt (6). Alex also leaves behind two other children from another relationship.

Logann is now stepping in as the sole provider for their kids, but will have to take time off to care for them through this immensely difficult grieving process of losing their dad, who they love and adore. Any donations will go towards time off, funeral expenses and anything needed for the children, etc to ease some of the financial stress off of their family.

I will be sharing a meal train as well for those local that want to help with food, and we will have an account set up at a local bank on the coast soon for those who want to donate in person.
