The Unfortunate Event for Mary Shore (Mum)

On Friday 29 September 2023, Mary (Mum) was enjoying here morning at St Vincents Care Services Home - Spring St Toowoomba (Formerly Lourdes Nursing Home) where she had resided since 2009.

Whist visiting the nurses station at the Home, Mary (Mum) encountered a tragic accident with another resident. This resulted in Mum falling and hitting her head.

She was cared for at the scene, by the loving staff at St Vincent Care Services.

She then required a hospital examination to find out if anything was damaged.

The doctors at the Base hospital found a brain bleed.

Mum told me that she will get through this. She even had her usual cheeky grin.

Within an hour the bleed spread and put Mum into a deep sleep.

She tragically passed that afternoon with loving family by her side.

As most people who knew mum, she didn't have a lot and we are raising funds to help with her funeral costs.
