The University of Birmingham's Lacrosse Club

Hi, we are members of the University of Birmingham's Lacrosse club and we are looking for your support. Our lacrosse club is nearly a 100% student self-funded club, with our teams competing to varying levels in competitions across the country. Our teams, notably our Women's 1s, play at the highest level in BUCS, competing in a league against universities that comparatively receive much greater funding from their respective university organisations.

We are looking for your support. As a university sports club, funded by students, we are faced with large costs which we cannot solve on our own. Within the University there are discrepancies in the levels of funding for Premier League teams, with our club suffering with little to no support. Ahead of knock-out cup games, against teams who were training every day, UoB Sport cut down training times significantly to one paid hour of training a week due to funding issues.
