Tanner Stiles Cancer Treatment

Hi my name is Mandy,

Amy Vaughan and her sweet family are my close friends. Her 17 yr. old son Tanner, is currently in Charleston at the MUSC Pediatric Cancer Center. After weeks of going to there local family doctors and a visit to the ER, they denied him of further help and said that his lab work looked fine. They said it wasn’t a acute emergency and sent them on their way. Amy wouldn’t give up, and took him to Charleston, S.C. to hopefully get some answers. She knew in her heart something was wrong. Tanner been running fever, lost a lot of weight from no appetite. After a day at the MUSC ER, he was admitted to the Cancer Center on Oct. 5th 2023. They found a huge mass on his heart, and more in his lymph nodes. They are currently running more test. Chemo has already been mentioned because of the mass on his heart inoperable. The expenses are going to be a lot, with hotels, food, gas and medical. They are two hours away from home, and they are not able to return to work yet.
