The VC Gallery NEEDS YOU!

WE NEED YOUR HELP, OUR PREMISES HAS BEEN FLOODED :-(

The last couple of weeks have been a very difficult period, especially for some of our members and service users who use our charity daily for one of our main aims, 'tackling social isolation'.

The VC Gallery is an Armed forces and Community mental health charity located in the heart of Haverfordwest. The gallery is open to all and prides itself on having it's doors open to provide a warm welcome for everyone. We regularly hold vibrant art workshops and pride ourselves on creating a great sense of community.

Due to the extensive damage caused by the flood, a refurbishment is now on the cards along with a temporary move to a new premises.

We are now going to incur costs as a result of this flood. Due to the extensive damage the insurance provider will only partly pay and so we have decided to start this fundraiser to appeal for financial assistance so we can continue our important work.

Your donation will help us to complete a temporary move to a new premises in Haverfordwest so that we can keep our vital services running for the people of Pembrokeshire.

Barry John MBE - Founder of The VC Gallery commented "Our support hub and gallery in Haverfordwest is looking a bit sad at the moment, we have had a flood and the damage is extensive. “We have our south Pembrokeshire hub in Pembroke Dock running five days a week and our outdoor projects will still run smoothly ahead, so not all is lost.”

“We are so honoured by the messages and calls of support and we will be looking at lots of ways we can still give our critical support, such as the counselling and drug and alcohol reduction work in Haverfordwest area."

The funds will be used for relocation and refurbishment and any other costs incurred
