The Veach Family’s Fight For Life

Paddy Veach is a 42 Year Old Loving, Hard working, Family Man, Great Friend, & Father of soon to be 5 Children has been recently diagnosed with Lung & Throat Cancer.

Paddy has had many trials and tribulations throughout his life. Five years ago, God turned his life around, and he is proud to say he has been sober ever since. Paddy was hired by a large developer Campo Brothers to oversee the construction of their homes. He quickly became very likable among their clients and the builder. He has proven to be a valuable asset to the company and is now like family to them and many of their past clients. He has touched many lives over the years and helped to build numerous people's dream homes for their families. Paddy has 2 Twin daughters from a past relationship and a 4-year-old daughter Maddie also from a past relationship. 2.5 years ago, Paddy met the love of his life Jessica and knew she was the one. They married shortly after, giving him a stepson named Rey. As you can imagine. Jessica and Paddy having met later in life developed many dreams of what their future would look like. Dreams of building a new home for themselves and expanding their love for each other with a child. They found a property to build on, went to contract, and began the process of designing and permitting for their future home. Fast forward, Jessica recently found out she was pregnant with twins. Sadly they received the news that one of the twins did not survive. Topped with this news Paddy had been experiencing odd symptoms. He lost his voice and was having periods of shortness of breath. Covid being prevalent and previously having it he thought it may have been residual symptoms from that but when the voice was not coming back he went to get it checked out to only find out they found a mass in his throat and he had lost part of his voice box. The doctors decided to do more testing and discovered a much larger mass in his left lung. Since the recent discovery the mass has tripled in size. They are staging the cancer near stage 3. The mass is toward the top of the left lung and they are praying it does not spread to the other as it is aggressive. The doctors on Paddy’s team are phenomenal and are planning to treat him with experimental drugs. Alot of which are not covered under insurance. In addition to this Paddy and his wife have had to walk away from the dream of building their dream home and lost their savings in doing so. They had no choice but to make his medical needs a immediate priority to try to save his life. The doctors have stated Paddy is like the unicorn. It is extremely unusual for a 42 year old male in his condition to have this type of lung cancer and the cancer they say is not responding so far to the current treatments. Paddy will need to undergo chemo and radiation to try to shrink the mass in lung before surgery can be done and before they can even consider dealing with his throat. They think at this point they will most likely need to remove the entire left lung to save him. As you can imagine Paddy will not be able to focus on work or have the energy to work. Jessica has also been out of work for weeks helping to care for him and be by his side. They quickly are fearing the gravity of the financial hardship this situation has put their family in. The family has asked I assist in making this go fund me for them to assist in alleviating some of their rising expenses relating to Paddy's dire medical situation. We are praying and believing in God to do a miracle. We ask you also pray as payer in numbers is the key to Paddy's success.
