The Vedder Family House Fire
Donation protected
On November 2, 2022 an unexpected electrical fire started in Bob, Josie and Sarah Vedder’s home. Thankfully there were no injuries, but the fire left them with no home, no clothes, no furniture, no essentials and a broken heart. To the Vedder's, family is everything, and this fire completely devastated all their precious family photographs, childhood memories, family heirlooms and more.
Bob is a handyman who has been the sole provider for the family since Josie became very ill and could no longer work. Bob is the type of man who would give the shirt off his back. He has been known to help anyone in need whether it's fixing a car or anything in a home. Bob is a jack of all trades who always puts his family first and works tirelessly to provide for them.
In 2018 Josie's illness progressed and it prevented her from being able to work. At that time she shifted her focus to her granddaughters and helping out her daughter, whose husband is away working his military job.
Sarah recently graduated from SCSU and was in the steps of applying for grad school while helping Bob with jobs and substitute teaching.
Please help The Vedder Family during this difficult time. The donations will be going towards completely starting over. Any & every donation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
UPDATE: The Vedder family is so grateful for the outpouring of love & generosity! They want to thank you all for your support and donations. Bob had to put work on hold for a bit to help the family clear the rubble and salvage what they can.
