The Vent Tent- A Festival Chaplaincy Booth

I'm a Unitarian Universalist chaplain, and one of my goals is to provide free chaplaincy services at outdoor festivals. This year, I'm setting up a "Vent Tent" at Riot Squad Media's Camp Punksylvania outdoor punk festival.

The idea behind The Vent Tent is that anybody who is experiencing feelings like anxiety, panic, depression, and loneliness can stop by and be heard, without having to worry about judgment or unsolicited advice. I'll also avail additional self-care resources like coloring books and crayons, prayer and swear jars (that people can ritually pray or swear into), and a portable punching bag. I don't sell goods or services at The Vent Tent, so any income I receive results entirely from charity and philanthropy.

Unfortunately, I don't currently own a canopy tent, and I still have to pay a vendor booth fee in order to provide this free service. Thus, I'm hoping to raise the money to pay for a canopy tent, pay the vendor booth fee, and cover miscellaneous travel-related expenses.

Anybody who contributes to this GoFundMe would be helping me provide care to people who otherwise might not be heard or have their emotional and/or spiritual needs attended to.
