The Victims of the Accident on Highway 1
Donation protected
Yesterday my world drastically changed. I woke up to a phone call at 330am that my daughter and her best friends (the 4 musketeers) were involved in an accident on Highway 1, just past the Sprott Street exit. My daughter thankfully was the only one who is deemed "okay". She lost one of her best friends and the other two are struggling to live. These girls were "good" kids. They all worked, they just bought cars, they were doing the right thing. They were out for a night on the town for one of their 21 birthdays and took an Uber home. They never made it. They will all have to live with the fact that one of them didn't live that night, it will take some serious time and love. Please pray for the safe recovery of the other two that are fighting for their lives. I do not want to release the names of the deceased or ones that in critical condition for respect of their families at this time. All four of these families were a family, all of us mothers loved those girls like they were our own. The girls had plans of moving in together just to afford rent, going to college in Vancouver, the had goals, dreams..... and now they are going to have to learn a new reality. While they are fighting to survive they all have car payments, insurance, phone bills, etc. I would pay it all if I was financially able to but I am just not there. My daughter is alive, but unable to work. She is grieving her friend, and processing the fact that she survived. If survivor guilt was a thing, I witnessed it first hand. Please pray for these two young 20/21 year old ladies, please send positive thoughts, think of them.... Hold your kids tight, please for me. You never know when they won't return home.
