Lil Black Boy Campaign: $1k for Free Therapy

Donation protected
For Mental Health Awareness Month The Village Healing and Writing Circle for Men of Color has joined forces with hip-hop artist Sir Eddie C and All Black Creatives. Named after Sir Eddie C's new song and ode to the Black man experience, the Lil Black Boy campaign aims to raise $1,000 to go towards ten current participants of The Village HAWC. The donations will fund two free therapy sessions from an area clinician of color. At the cost of $100, one man of color in the St. Louis area we be able to  receive two free therapy sessions.

For the month of May we will be asking self-identified black men to share pictures of their younger selves using #LilBlackBoy on social media.

We thank you for your support and commitment towards the enrichment of St. Louis's men of color through providing the opportunity for the men in our organization to receive professional counseling services free of cost.

Thank you for sharing, donating, and keeping Black men in your thoughts and hearts. Please check out Sir Eddie C's latest single Lil Black Boy (which the campaign was inspired by), like The Village Healing Circle for Men of Color on Facebook, visit All Black Creatives on Instagram, and download the Black Mentell Village Podcast.
