The Waiting Room - UNM Capstone Film

Donation protected
The Waiting Room is a UNM Capstone Film, shooting in February 2024!

As our final piece of our Bachelors Degree, BFA students at UNM make an independent film to present to the world, showcasing the skills and talents we have gained over the past four years!

The Waiting Room is a twelve minute dramatic comedy written and directed by Rylee Norman, following a college aged girl as she visits the waiting room of hell. Inspired by works like Dante's Inferno, The Canterbury Tales, and Beetle Juice, the film is a commentary on forgiveness and how we learn to forgive others and ourselves.

We are fundraising to make this film possible and to cover expenses for location rentals, costuming, props, and catering (which will cost us the most). We are looking for friends, family members, and community members who would love to help make this film possible and receive a credit at the end of the film!

We hope you will join us in this endeavor and stay updated with the progress of the creation of this piece!
