The Walker family needs our help. It is with a heavy heart that we share our beloved friend, Ashley Walker, is at the end of her battle with metastatic breast cancer at the age of 38. Ashley was a loving, thoughtful caring mom, wife, daughter and friend.

Ashley was always up for any adventure, never turning down an opportunity to spend time with friends. Especially when those invitations involved great food, good friends and lots of laughter. She lived life in the moment, making the most of the time she had and generously sharing that time with all of the people she loved. Though we all know she must have suffered pain and fear at times over the past several years, she was determined to stay positive and live her life to the fullest until the end. This spirit was always most apparent with her husband, Shawn, and their children Morgan and Adrian.

All the funds we raise will help Shawn and the kids (ages 4 and 5) cover Ashley’s end of life expenses and provide support while they take time together to begin to heal. Unfortunately, Ashley’s cancer diagnosis was early on in life, so it did not allow them to plan for her loss, as life insurance is very limited for someone with a pre-existing condition.
