The Water Project, Bigodi Village, Uganda.
Donation protected
Hi my name is Suzanne Grace an artist/scientist and I am raising money to help support a community in Uganda which I visited as an eco-tourist. I visited Bigodi a small village situated in the highlands of western Uganda bordering Kibale National Park. It is home to a vast array of wildlife including endangered primates and the blue turaco bird.
As a tourist gathering original material to inform my own art I became aware of the water project. which supports communities. Currently locals have to walk long distances to get access to fresh clean water. This I witnessed firsthand.
There are local schools which would benefit greatly from having access to fresh water. Enabling better education and improving access to facilities can enable communities to focus on important conservation practices. By raising awareness of these matters it can provide much needed facilities for local communities and provide better outcomes for endangered wildlife. I am aiming to raise funds to support the installation of a fresh water tank including necessary pipes in a local Bigodi school and enable better education facilities. Your support will be greatly appreciated, thank you for supporting local communities and endangered wildlife. You will make a difference.
