THE WEARY BLUES

Several years of hard work is finally paying off. The Weary Blues, a song recording collaboration between composer DREW HEMENGER and soprano ADRIENNE DANRICH, has been released by HR Recordings, a wonderful hi-fidelity label in Madrid. It can be purchased now in hi-def resolution at NativeDSD and the booklet is free to download with or without purchase.

It will be available on all your favorite streaming platforms starting on August 12!

Our other collaborators are incredible pianist Mila Henry, Grammy-winner Charles Yang on the fiddle, and the glorious operatic baritone Eric McKeever. Brilliant producer Philip Carroll produced, mixed and edited.

This project has been and continues to be very expensive, and we would like to hire a PR company to garner more reviews. We would also like to produce a physical CD and a release event. Therefore, I am appealing to you to help out in this endeavor with a donation to this GoFundMe campaign. You are probably aware that classical recordings rarely ever make enough even to cover costs, but having the music out there is worth everything. $12,000 would cover the costs of the recording studio, engineer, production, editing, musician fees, rehearsal space rental, PR and a few others.
