The Wedgeworth Family
Donation protected
This isn’t an easy post to write but I feel if any family is worthy of just an ounce of help, it would be the Wedgeworth Family. From running their own family business to a home with their 4 children, they are just good salt of the earth people with a work ethic like no other. I have never known Amanda to just sit around and wait for a job because she is constantly hustling and following leads. She mowes lawns, cooks FANTASTIC deserts, makes her tinctures, and puts me to shame with her amazing motherly love. Everything was paying off with plans of expanding the business to bigger projects until 2 weeks ago when Micheal suffered a terrible fall while working. But everything is possible with God and Michael not only survived but he walked out of that hospital, even after the doctors said it wasn’t possible. Now with any great man their is a greater women next to him and that is Amanda. She dried her eyes, praised God for a miracle, and got to work taking over all she could for the business while Michael recovers. But as the old saying goes, when it rains it pours and yesterday it poured like no other. On the morning of Sept 15th while taking their daughter to school the Wedgeworth’s where involved in a head on collision. Amanda was flown to San Antonio and is still in the hospital recovering. This is TWO MAJOR ACCIDENTS in the span of TWO WEEKS. No family could get through this without some hardship, but for a family owned business a day of lost work is like a months of no pay for most. Let’s come together as a community and help them out, to make sure when they are ready to get back to the grind they have a business to go back too. Whatever you can give will be a blessing to this very hardworking family from a $1 to $1k ever penny matters and will help rebuild their dream. If you donate over $100 I will personally make a cheesecake with Amanda’s recipe and deliver it to you to show my gratitude on behalf of the family.
