Hi,

My name is Loretta and I'm raising funds for my sister and brother in-law, Linda and Gene. I know it can be embarrassing to ask for help, but sometimes there is no other option. He has always worked, normally 50-60 hr weeks, to support his family.

He is the bread winner of the family.

They are seeking $8067 for monies lost during time off from work.

He spent 10 days in the hospital with multiple diabetic ulcers, cellulitis, and gangrene of the right big toe and foot. This resulted in partial amputation of the right toe and extensive wound cleaning over two surgeries.

His job includes extensive driving and standing during the day, while doing measurements and mechanical drawings. His doctor is recommending 8 weeks off of work or possibly sooner to heal.

All of his PTO which includes sick time has been exhausted. No short term disability benefits available through company. He will have no pay during the time off of work. He will also have to pay $37.65 per week back to the company to keep up his current benefits.

He has already been through so much, I hate to see financial worries added to the list. Any amount would help. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
