The Well Collective, Richmond, 2021

4 months ago, I was asked by the property manager what sign should go up in the building directory.  With mostly ease, and very little hesitation, I said, The Well Collective.  On 3/11/2021, after conducting a set of interviews to expand the BSY team, I walked into our main office hallway and caught a glimpse of the newly installed Well Collective sign.  During sabbatical, I asked for a sign to guide if [I]/we should stay in this space--and there, on 3/11/2021, the sign appeared.  3/11/2013 is the date that my Aunt transitioned into the spirit world, and it was her life that has continued to guide me to the creation of BareSOUL and beyond. There’s so much more divine guidance into this vision and laid this path, and of course, I will continue to share more.

So, the 7 month commitment to our 13th South 13th Street, Suite 100, Richmond, VA is continuing [apparently everyone knew this but me--Truth is this was a self practice to stay in my own self care, center service to others and trust the divine VS. own another business and hustle hard]. These past 5 months have been work, yet it has been the most energizing, impactful and connecting experience. When it becomes overwhelming, as life can, I step back and check in.

Welcome to the next venture, The Well Collective:  A Community Space for Well-Being. Yes, still home of yoga, yet the continued building of an intergenerational, diverse community offering all things that support breathing free and BE’ing well--classes and programs, and various healing modalities for our individual wellness and collective well-being.  Most importantly, a space for conscious, compassionate and connected relationships + education to take our skills and place them into action for social impact in the epicenter of our country’s oppression.

Note: Sometimes you just need to listen, take the step, and commit. This is way bigger than me, this is a We. Shoutout to all of the people from mentors to baresoul ambassadors, volunteers and interns to our students + monthly members, our investor members, community partners, and wellness practitioners throughout the city of Richmond that have showed up to place energy towards this movement and divine vision that will ripple from Richmond + beyond-the vision has been felts, and the path has been laid. Thank you and let’s BE.
