The Western North Carolina Water & Tree Mission

I'm Adam Parrish, and many of you likely know me from work or as friends. I feel a personal calling to help my community in need, and it seems the highest impact way to do that is by taking water from treatment plants outside of Asheville and driving it to communities who need it. I have connected with the Rutherfordton water treatment plant (1 hour away) and the Hendersonville / Mills River plant. We have two ways to fill and currently one truck.

We will be finding other volunteers with trucks to purchase 275-gallon water tanks and hoses to bring water to the communities who need it most. This will cost us roughly $450 to outfit a truck and the cost of gas to bring loads of water. The water is provided for free by the surrounding cities.
