The Whitman Family

Our neighbors, Mark and Kelly Whitman, experienced a house fire on 9/8/22. Mark and Kelly have two children. Carter, in 9th grade and Savannah, in 6th grade. 

Insurance thinks they will be displaced from their home for 6 months. Their kitchen and dining room were destroyed in the fire and the rest of the house has significant smoke damage. Right now, they don’t know how much of their belongings are salvageable or if at all.  

We’re so grateful that the Mark, Kelly, Carter, and Savannah are safe and not harmed. Now, we would like to help them get back on their feet. 

9/11/22 Update. 

The Whitmans are looking for temporary rental housing for the next 3-6 months in Mahtomedi or the surrounding area. If you know of any housing that will accommodate a family of 4 and 2 dogs, please reach out to the Whitmans ASAP. They’re staying with family right now but need somewhere that will work for several months while their home is repaired.
