Whittier College Rugby takes on UNLV

The Whittier College Rugby Club is dedicated to giving students, who are interested in playing rugby, an opportunity to compete and have fun. The Rugby club here at Whittier College was initially created by and for ex-athletes who wanted to continue sports but did not or could not play at the college level.
With any team sport travel costs are always going to accumulate. The  Whittier College Rugby Club is planning on traveling to Las Vegas to compete against the University of Las Vegas in a rugby match. Our goal is to raise enough money by the end of March due to that fact that our game is scheduled to be during the first week of April. All donations will be put towards paying for transportation, living costs, as well as food for the student athletes that are a part of the Whittier college rugby club.
As a club we always struggle with funding and never have enough to cover such large travel costs. Most of our funding goes to equipment and league fees as well as insurance fees. Your donation would mean the world to these athletes, especially those who are seniors planning to graduate this year. Getting the chance to compete with a big school like UNLV is a very rare opportunity for us and your donations would greatly help us.
