Wildlife victims of the new goorambat solar farm

Hi my name is Kristy and I am the wildlife carer running ‘Benalla Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation’. With the recent clearing of trees for the new solar farm at goorambat, myself and other wildlife carers have been inundated with wildlife due to it being peak nesting/breeding season.

A lot of members of the community were asking if there was anyway they could help or if they could donate anything, so I decided to set up this fundraiser. There is absolutely no expectation but if people would like to help, any funds raised would be shared by myself and the other impacted carers to be able to purchase supplies. As you can imagine with the large number of babies in care from this, we are going through large amounts of expensive rearing mixtures, feeds, heat lamps, syringes etc and any little bit helps a lot.
