The Withell Family

As many of you are aware James Withell ‘Jimmy’ recently passed away suddenly. James was the ultimate family man and was a father to five children. Many people have asked if there was any intention to do a fundraiser event in James' memory or any way they could donate to the family.

James’s family has been overwhelmed with the sympathy and support they have received and this has given the family great comfort to know he was so loved and respected in the village.

James's wife, Emma, and the family are very aware that the children will feel the loss of James throughout their lives. They also accept that donations would assist them greatly in providing specialist support and pastoral care. The children will need access to specialist counselling to assist them in navigating their grief journey. Although many charities offer this support there are long waiting lists so in all probability this will need to be arranged privately.

George, Sam, Jack, Ellie, and Abi are exceptional children with many hobbies and interests. Every penny that is raised will enable the family to support the children to achieve and continue all the interests they had whilst James was alive. Money is no substitution but unfortunately, a requirement to continue to make memories in his honour.

We greatly appreciate any donations towards the children’s futures but please only give if you are able.
