I am a Team USA bobsled athlete. I was named to the National Team 22’ & had several competitive finishes on the World Cup tour with my teammate to earn points for the Olympic qualifying sleds. I previously competed as a USA Olympic weightlifter in Atlanta, Georgia! I made the transition to Bobsled just earlier in 2022 after coaches and an Olympic bobsledder encouraged me to try the sport. I am now based in Lake Placid, NY living at the Olympic Training Center working daily together for the women’s 2 man bobsled event going on the world tour. I’m excited to showcase my strength and athletic talent for my country as we prepare to travel across Europe and North America. We have spent years of our lives training for these moments and we want to see it through to the end.

Our USA bobsled federation helps athletes with some financial burdens. However, the season of a bobsled athlete could be upwards of $30,000. For example shipping sleds in an airplane, renting sled trucks, air fair, and Airbnb, do add up on the athletes.

National Team (USABS Funded)

• Bobsled rental $1,250 per sled ($1,750 if combine standard not met)

• Bobsled shipping shared $6,500 each way

• EC bobsled (2 athletes) estimate 1st race: $21,570-$32,356, each additional race:

$1,959-$2,939

But I can't do it without help from sponsors and donations. It has always been a team effort to get to the most competitive stage in the world, and I am excited to take you along the journey with me.
