Guinness World Record - Biggest Group Ice Bath

WE HAVE 500 PEOPLE SIGNED UP TO MAKE HISTORY IN THE ICY WATER!
Hi there
My name is Mark and I'm the founder of One Life Live It, a company focused on helping people break out of negative mindsets and limiting behaviours, often associated with anxiety and depression and ultimately preventing us from living a life by 'design' rather than by 'accident'.
While we offer coaching and 'Mindset Bootcamps', we use cold water exposure and breathing amongst other modalities to shift states and reap the mental and physical benefits.
Specifically, cold-water immersion provides many significant and powerful physiological and mental health benefits.
So, to further raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health, in particular anxiety and depression and to raise money for Beyond Blue*, we are staging a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD attempt for the WORLD'S FIRST EVER, BIGGEST, GROUP ICE BATH!
The attempt is on Saturday 20th January 2024, at Leighton Beach in Perth, Western Australia.
We need to get 250 people, simultaneously into the water/ice (we will be using 41 inflatable pools set up on the beach), which will be around 6oC, submerged up to their necks, for 3 minutes for the record.
We are super excited as we now have 500 people signed up and ready to take the plunge and with registrations now closed, we are keen to maximise the funds we can raise.
The event is not-for-profit.
Sponsors & Donations
While we are seeking sponsors interested in being part of the event, we are hoping to raise more money for the charity through Go Fund Me - EVEN A $10 DONATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
If you're interested, or know anyone who might be interested in sponsoring a pool ($650) or the main stage, please contact us for more details.
Carbon Footprint
We understand that ice and the packaging produce a carbon footprint, and while we understand raising awareness of the benefits of cold water immersion is paramount, we also want to consider the environment.
The event will have its carbon footprint calculated and we will be donating to GreenFleet to plant trees, which when mature will offset our carbon use for the event.
For more information please check out the One Life Live It website and go to the Events page, or feel free to contact Mark directly on 0408 302 187.
