The Wulff Home Fire
Donation protected
My parents Carl and Heidi Wulff lost their home in Medical Lake, Wa on 8/18 in a wildfire. We are blessed everyone was able to get out safely. Many items are replaceable, and many are priceless memories lost forever. It’s extremely tragic to see your parents, the ones who continuously give their heart to others, loose everything. I am asking for prayers, happy thoughts or donations to help get them the essentials as they move forward.
Updates will be made as they happen.
Please contact daughter Holly, with questions at this time.
Update from Heidi 8/19:
“We lost all our possessions yesterday and most likely one cat in a wildfire that burned through our block. We are in total shock but counting our blessings as a close friend perished. Heading to Walmart soon to get a pair of underwear, a hairbrush, etc and hopefully my meds!! On the bright side, our children have way less to sort through when we pass!! Btw looking for a travel trailer to stay in or buy.”
Update 8/19:
Heidi and Carl have a temporary place to stay. They are still in shock and so appreciative of everyone’s support and for those who reached out. We reached our original goal in less than 24 hours. Donations are still appreciative and any unused funds will go directly to the community and those affected by the Gray fire. Currently over 180 homes have been lost so far as the fire continues to burn.
Update 8/22:
Carl and Heidi have been able to purchase a travel trailer to stay in as they rebuild. They will move in this week, and are so grateful for the temporary lodging they were provided with.
Son Chester and Fiancé Katie have came up from CA to help and son Charlie who lives local has been providing help and helping evacuate animals as needed.
The fire continues to burn.
