The Yarn Fund

After a prolonged hospital stay to recover from pneumonia, sepsis, and c.diff, I was moved to North Shore Estates in Duluth MN for physical therapy and to learn to walk again.

In my non-therapy time, I need something productive to do, and a way to be of service.

I've been making lap Afghans for our older residents that are pretty much wheelchair bound. Their legs and tummy get cold easily.

I have run the activities department out of yarn! So I am hoping to buy more yarn using this platform.

why so much money? I don't use bargain yarn for these projects. Rough yarn can irritate fragile skin. so Caron Simply Soft it is. Not an inexpensive yarn.
