The Yvette Bolden Memorial Fund

The Yvette Bolden Memorial Fund will honor the life of Yvette Bolden, cherished Wife of 26 happy years (27 years this May 18, 2023), devoted Mother of our precious daughter Alana, beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, co-worker, friend and classmate. On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 10:00 PM EST, my soulmate Yvette Letellia Bolden passed away at UNC Hospital after heroically fighting a rare and extremely aggressive Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer. We received her diagnosis on 1/23/2023 and she fought it with all she had. Her oldest sister Stephanie, our daughter Alana and I (Erik, her Husband) were with her when she took her last breath. Yvette's passing weighs heavy on the minds and hearts of everyone in our community and abroad.

Yvette worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years in various customer service roles where she helped patients with everything from insurance billing at MedBill in Durham, N.C. to pharmacy assistance and clinical care management at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C. Yvette was a compassionate, empathetic, sympathetic, beautifully and wonderfully made Wife, Mother, family member, classmate, co-worker and friend.

This memorial fund is being established in Yvette's honor to cover any unexpected expenses and to benefit our daughter Alana in the future. Donations made to this memorial fund will help lighten the financial burden on our family during this difficult time and see to it that our daughter Alana has the continuing support she needs to pursue her college and life dreams. Please help us keep Yvette's memory alive and honor the positive impression she had on the lives of those who knew, loved and still love her so much.
