We were excited about the model after reading studies that giving cash directly can be far more effective than food banks and other similar organizations. We liked GiveDirectly in particular because they are super transparent and effective!
More on the team: Sam Clark, Maria Shen, and Jean Yang got together for The Zoom Bachelorette, a livestreamed Zoom-to-Twitch reality dating show featuring bachelorette Katia and her 12 suitors.
