Theatre Cambrian Promotion Campaign

Donation protected

Theatre Cambrian is a community theatre in Sudbury Ontario that is leading into its 33rd season.  Well known for it's musicals and dinner theatres - Theatre Cambrian continues to operate as the only local community theatre able to produce 4 musicals, 5 dinner theatres and more every year.

On Friday, July 28, 2017 from 1pm to 10:30pm eight local bands will take part in a special music festival to support one of Sudbury's longest running community theatres. In its over 30 year history, operational costs continue to rise which makes it more challenging to produce quality community theatre and keep it affordable for patrons.

Theatre Cambrian is asking the community to come together to help save the theatre!  Songs of Summer will double as a live streamed telethon to raised funds for this non-for-profit charity.

Community theatre enriches the lives of others and is essential to the health of communities and offers life changing experiences.

Local acts Tea and Whiskey, The Committed, Sugar Boom, Natalie Crispo, Celine Tellier, Matt Naveau, JoPo and the Rize, and Larry Berrio have come together to support the Songs of Summer Festival and Theatre Cambrian. Larry Berrio, who recently played Stars and Thunder with Johnny Reid and Keith Urban will close off the night. All concerts will be held in the band shell.

Admission to the festival is free, although voluntary donations are encouraged.

Online donations can also be made through this gofundme account!

Follow Theatre Cambrian's Facebook page for a link to the online donations and a live stream of the concert.

Local food vendors will be onsite, so grab a picnic table or blanket and enjoy some great food and live music. Songs of Summer will include an event at Theatre Cambrian July 29 and a long time theatre performer and local musician Kass Bazinet performs at the Bell Park Concert Series on July 30.

Theatre Cambrian is a highly respected non-profit charitable community theatre company offering quality entertainment in Northern Ontario since 1985. Theatre Cambrian alumni have gone on to rewarding careers on and off Broadway, have appeared in successful films and have provided technical support to the movie industry. A community-based ideology, combined with creative passion and technical expertise has made this organization a leader both on and off stage.
