To all of our loyal guests and friends,
Our world has been turned upside down, and a burning question persists: who is on top and who is on the bottom? Who will get help and who will fall through the cracks?
We are reaching out to you because these are desperate times for many of the 300 people that work in our restaurants. We feel powerless to help those who have worked so hard for us for many years, and it is heartbreaking to see them face having nothing. They have lost 100% of all means of making a living -- what must we do, how can we help?
We are doing everything we can to secure funds for our staff who simply will not be able to put food on their tables, and looking at every possibility to stem the loss that they are experiencing.
During this time of natural disaster, we must find compassion and understanding for those who are voiceless and very likely will be overlooked for government assistance. These are the people that we work shoulder to shoulder with daily -- they are so much more than just employees. They are family.
We cannot turn our backs on them. Please consider contributing what you can. No amount is too small. Every dollar donated will go directly to our employees.
Thank you for helping to make a difference in people's lives who are suffering so much loss.
We have to go forward together or we don’t go forward at all.
