The Brave New World Program

We empower minority youth by giving them access to current film technology and teaching them the art of filmmaking. With this introduction to the latest in digital/film technology, we will spark interest in film production and post –production careers. We will open the door to a new world that many of these young people may never have imagined. Our goal is to foster diversity and increase opportunities for minority talent and employment in the film industry. We will select 10 minority students from the communities of Los Angeles, California. The teens will have access to the Hollywood sound stage of SONY Electronics Limited on the SONY Pictures Entertainment lot. The selected teens will engage in a 6-week hands-on program using Sony Cameras, Sony editing equipment.

With your help we can finance the crew, industry experts, and production expenses needed for this session.
