The Creamy Pint /Float Your Boat!

Hi there! my name is Jeff and it is my plan to open a micropub. I have long harboured a desire to work for myself, and having recently found myself unemployed at the age of 52 I decided now was the time to do something about it. I have applied to be part of the New Enterprise Allowance scheme wherein I get a small allowance for 13 weeks while I fine-tune my business plan, but the bit that worries me most is financing my startup as my credit score is, to be blunt, a bit rubbish. 
My business is going to be named The Creamy Pint, and it'll be a micropub with a difference, as it will also be an ice cream place! I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do, but then I discovered Ice Cream Cocktails (a bit like Ice Cream Floats, but involving beer, wine and spirits - imagine a root beer float with cherry brandy, or gin and tonic with lime sherbet, or even a nice dark Porter with bourbon and Salted Caramel ice cream). So my micropub will be serving beers, spirits and ice cream, all of which will be made locally. That's right, I'll only use products made in Kent. (At least, when I get up and running...)
My business plan has changed somewhat from its original incarnation, and I am currently running Float Your Boat which is a mobile party business - I'll come to your venue and conduct a mocktail/cocktail workshop/masterclass or just do a party ice cream cocktail bar. Hopefully this will springboard me towards my ultimate goal.
