ABOUT
We are Hannah and Díma, a Barcelona-based filmmakers family.
Today we are working on The Cult - the new sci-fi miniseries where we will tell the story of the great victory of the heart over the mind.
A young neuroscientist named Pia who becomes entangled in a war between technological and spiritual cults. Just before the conflict, she discovers a way to glimpse into the near future. To see further and find the key to saving our planet from the war's consequences, she must journey into her past life.
Very soon, and in fact, even now, humanity is facing the impending question: save our planet or try to start everything from scratch on another?
Most likely, the majority of our population will support the idea of colonization even if it turns out to be disastrous for our planet.
The only argument favouring preserving life on Earth can be the hitherto mostly unexplored infinite potential of human consciousness.
But can a spiritual minority oppose enlightenment to progress?
We know that this story will fundamentally change people's minds.
We feel wholehearted that this series must be independent and have a voice far away from large industry.
This is exactly why we have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign right here.
WHAT IS OUR PLAN?
Graphic Novel or Development
For the detailed development of the season, we will need to create concept arts and a storyboard.
They usually disappear somewhere in the archives after filming. And no one remembers them anymore. But we want to give them a second life.
Therefore, we will produce a graphic novel.
Our first goal is 12,000 €. This amount is enough to finish the novel. Today, with the incredible advancements in AI, we need just one thing to visualize the first two episodes — a three-month period to work on the novel without distractions from commercial projects.
Teaser & Fundraisingn
Following the graphic novel, our next step is to produce a high-quality teaser for the series. This will demonstrate our vision and the potential of The Cult, attracting further investments and support.
We will pour all our resources and creative potential into the teaser, ensuring it speaks for itself and leaves no doubt that the series must be made. Alongside the graphic novel and a dedicated fan community, we will launch a powerful fundraising campaign directly for the series.
In addition to crowdfunding, we will also pursue traditional funding avenues such as pitching to investors and applying for grants. By combining these efforts, we aim to secure the necessary resources to bring The Cult to life.
Step Three - Production
Now we have everything we need: a script, a detailed storyboard, a shooting schedule, main and secondary characters, costumes, props, sets, camera, lights, a pavilion and a great crew.
And of course, with us your energy and support.
The most sacred period begins - we start shooting.
So we can do a lot of post-production in parallel with the filming process. The composer creates the music. A sound engineer works on synchronized noises. Colorists and VFX artists perfect every shot.
Step Four - Post-Production
Our series is almost ready. All that's left is the voiceover and final sound mixing.
We are sure that at this stage, The Cult will get enough attention from the producers, and we will be able to invite famous actors and musicians to do the voiceover.
PREMIERE
The long-awaited moment of the premiere arrives.
Undoubtedly, the leading streaming companies will be interested in buying the rights to the series.
Together, we will fill our series with great power and love that will change people's minds.
