TheDOJO Food Drive

TheDOJO Food Drive helps the Rutherford Food Pantry feed members of our community & during the summer months donations are low.  Our first year we raised 1,000 cans of food in a month, the next year 2,000 cans, last year we raised 3,000 cans.  Spearheading this project over the last decade we have raised over 36,000 cans of food & have inspired other local organizations to lead their own food drives.  Although most of our donations are non perishable food items such as cans & boxes of food, monetary donations allow the families who are helped by the pantry to purchase fresh fruits & vegatables as well.  Also cash donations go to the families with children to help them buy school supplies.  Thank you for everyone's support!
